HSRN

HSRN contains molecules that can be used to produce high octane gasoline blendstock. This blendstock is known as reformate. HSRN is also used to produce aromatic molecules like benzene, toluene, and xylenes. These 3 aromatic molecules together are known as BTX. BTX is used in petrochemical production, primarily as solvents. Solvents are capable of dissolving other substances. Paint thinners and some cleaning sprays are good examples of solvents. Hydrogen is a byproduct of HSRN and is used to produce ammonia and other fertilizers when combined with nitrogen.
